Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup neutral oil, such as grapeseed
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large portabello mushrooms, stems removed and wiped clean
  • 4 slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 hamburger buns
  • toppings and condiments of choice

Tasting notes: Mushrooms and Pinot will forever be a beautful pairing!

Serena's tips: In step 1 add some minced or powdered garlic for added flavor. So many different cheeses work with this burger, we prefer using Swiss cheese.
