2023 Sonoma County Riesling

Tasting notes: The nose on this Riesling is a fun mix of tart lemon bar and an interesting note that hints at fermenting grain. Think Cheerios! A little white pepper is there, as well as, a bit of soft Key lime pie. On the palate this is a bolder Riesling for us in that the prominent citrus flavors are lemon curd and lush tropical notes lingering on the finish. This is the riesling from the Gould Family Vineyard (like the 2020 - 2022 vintages) but the vineyard sold in 2023 and the name changed which is why this no longer says Gould Family Vineyard.
