2019 Cartograph Estate Pinot Noir
Tasting notes:
This wine has taken quite a trip in the last 12 months. The prominent Bing cherry and plum that made it such a lush youngster have settled into the background with the tarragon aroma and earthy notes coming to the forefront. The palate reveals earthy components as well as strawberry, rose petal, and ripe cherry. On the palate it is broad showing black cherry, blackberry, and a nice bit of contrast flavor of fresh cranberry. This wine is definitely focused on the beautiful fruit flavors we achieved in 2019 with some fresh cut cedar lingering on the finish. (Updated 8.30.24 - Alan)
