2019 Cartograph Estate Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:

This wine has been exciting to watch mature. The prominent Bing cherry and plum that made it such a lush youngster have settled into the background with the tarragon aroma and earthy notes coming to the forefront. The palate reveals earthy components as well as strawberry, rose petal, and ripe cherry. On the palate it is broad showing black cherry, blackberry, and a nice bit of contrast of fresh cranberry. This wine is definitely focused on the beautiful fruit flavors we achieved in 2019 with some fresh cut cedar lingering on the finish. (Updated 12.19.24 - Alan)
