2018 Perli Vineyard Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes:

The '18 Perli is just starting to show some brickish color indicating it is starting to shift away primary fruit aromatics to a more integrated experience. Up front the primary aroma is of fresh cut cedar but the blueberry and blackberry notes we typically get from the Perli vineyard hover in the background. The palate shows that same cedar note balanced by a pretty black cherry core. The color tells you the wine has some age but it is fresh and silky on the palate.  There is a light unique herbal character here that is close to tarragon with a satisfying tannin grip on the finish.
