2014 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Tasting notes:

The 2014 RRV is sa bold wine. As it ages it has been picking up an aroma of a log that has been in the forest for a while. The wine, top to bottom, is definitely more earthy than fruity. The palate is getting leaner with charming hints of violet and is quite refreshing. The lush blackberry and sarsaparilla flavors are matched with a nice tannin grip that leads from the full palate to a finish with dried fruit and earthy aromatics. (Updated 3.25.24 - Alan)
