Tasting Notes:
Bing cherry, cedar, mint, and aromas of dried leaves combine to evoke a sunny fall day with the wind blowing the fallen leaves. Very bright and light on the palate, this wine has tight, fine-grained tannins with bright red fruit flavors playing a supporting role to the plentiful spices that dance on the tongue. Our second wine from the Choate Vineyard confirms that this cool Green Valley appellation fruit should be treated with kid gloves to create these elegant balanced Pinots. (Updated 2.12.17 - Alan)
