Tatsing notes:
Our second year in the Mariah vineyard has us moving to a block of young vines where we can take the whole block. This helps us have more control over the few things that the grower can do specifically on our timeline — most important, when we pick. The 2013 has a nice balance of earth and fruit. Earthy notes like forest floor and fermenting grain mix with round plum to make for a compelling first whiff. On the palate, you also sense an earthiness blending with some bright cranberry and orange zest. (Updated 1.25.16 - Alan)
