2012 Leonardo Julio Vineyard Pinot Noir
Tasting notes:
This wine is supremely well integrated. The aromatics are soft and subtle and the palate is study in harmony - everything is in the right place. On the nose you get soft plum, violets, delicate dried leaves and a slight cigar box note. On the palate it is velvety soft, earthy, and perfectly balanced. Subtle hints of dried cherry and strawberry float in the background and mix with loamy notes and a bright acid zip that could fool you into thinking this wine is much younger. Drink now through 2022.
