2014 Transverse Pinot Noir
Tasting notes:
2014 was a year that produced lighter more delicate wines but as they age they are developing some great mouthfeel. The prominent aromas of this wine are earthy forest floor and mushroom with a little lilac and licorice. The dark fruit aromas that were obvious when this wine was young have really played a hide and seek game with a year of big fruit and then a year of earthy crispness. This is a very unique wine in our library. And right now it is showing amazing balance and lots of fruit. (Updated 1.12.23 - Alan)
